What is a GhostPhone?

GhostPhone is an AI-powered auto-attendant and cloud-based phone system  loaded with tons of shockingly powerful features built with secure and encrypted technology on a Best in Class platform that works on all devices, and on all browsers. Our transparent (pun included) all-inclusive flat-rate pricing has no BS hidden fees and obscure line item charges loaded onto your bill. Instead, we have hauntingly low pricing that is guaranteed to spook your current phone carrier.

What is the Text Back feature?

The TextBack on Demand” feature auto-generates a text message response to your callers phones with a link to your online assets like your eStore, appointment booking form or website. 

This feature is ideal for screening calls, capturing missed call leads, when you’re busy to answer or for after hour calls. Keep your employees focused on their jobs instead of answering the phone (ie: answering “are you open?” for the 1,000th time) and send callers autogenerated texts with links to your online assets – so they can get what they need online.

Includes unlimited SMS messaging and customized text message responses.

What are Automatic Transfer Extensions?

Calls can be routed to different extensions through the Automatic Transfer Extension system even if you don’t have a landline. Extension devices can be your mobile phone tablet or landline. Press 1 for sales. Press 2 for the office.  All without a landline phone.

Can I use my own voice or audio?

You can use our professional-sounding auto-responder voices or upload your own voice greeting and responders.  Give your business an immediate professional, best-in-class voice, regardless if you’re a solo entrepreneur, start-up, or an established business.

Can I keep my phone number?

Yes. You just use call forwarding to forward your number (usually by just dialing*72 from your landline) to the Megaphone number you get at sign up. *73 turns off the call forwarding.

Do I need a new landline, VOIP phone or other telecom hardware?

No. For the most part.. GhostPhone is 100% cloud-based so you keep your existing phones and devices. No need to get a new VOIP phone or landline. If you are going to the GhostPhone Mobile Only setup,  that DOES require mobile devices – that we configure and provide to you. If you are creating a full size AIContact center and adding a large number of agents or handling a large number of inbound and outbound calls through your contact center please contact us @ support@megaphoneai.com. 

What is a Business Line with SMS?

Adding a GhostPhone *Business Line with SMS  lets you video chat, text message and send and receive business calls, all using a single application that works across all devices and on all browsers.

How do I forward my existing phone?

You use call forwarding to forward your number (usually by just dialing*72 from your landline) to the ghost number you get at sign up. *73 turns off the call forwarding. 

Does this really block spam calls?

Yes! Robocalls are automatically blocked as the call deflection system acts as your virtual call screening gatekeeper. For example, robocall systems cant understand “Press 1 for the host, press 2 for private parties” and automatically disconnect the call. 

Who is the Telcom carrier?

All telco services for Megaphone AI and Ghostphone are provided through Amazon Web Services.

What is Voice Responsive FAQs?

60% of calls to businesses are commonly repeated questions such as “What are your hours?’ “Can I order online?” and “Where do I park?” There are auto answered by our Interactive Voice Responsive (IVR) voicebot that is programmed to understand and respond to common spoken questions. This is an add-on feature. 

How many extensions can I get?

If you have the basic package you can get one extension and two textback extensions. Premium package has 3 extensions and 4 textback extensions. If you need more extensions, contact us at support@megaphoneai.com and we’ll get you squared away with as many as you need.

Can I get voicemail and how much is it?

Yes. The Email Voicemail solution allows customers to leave voicemails for an agent based on the agent’s extension number. When a customer calls a business, they are prompted for the extension number of the agent they want to reach. If the agent requested is available, the customer is connected directly to the agent. Otherwise, the customer reaches the agent’s voicemail where they can record a message of their choice.

After the customer leaves a message, an email and/or SMS notification containing and/or linking to the contents of the voicemail is sent to the agent.  The contents of the notification are configurable by an administrator, which includes the capability of adding a transcription of the message and a .wav file of the recording.

What is Voicemail transcripts by email or text?

After the customer leaves a message, an email and/or SMS notification containing and/or linking to the contents of the voicemail is sent to the agent.  The contents of the notification are configurable by an administrator, which includes the capability of adding a transcription of the message and a .wav file of the recording.

 

Are there any other costs other than the monthly subscription fee?

Yes. There are additional carrier charges that apply based on usage. These are  0.006c per minute for a call after 1000 minutes used, and  0.003c per SMS message sent after 10,000 messages sent. 

How long does it take to set up a fullcontact center ?
Custom AI Contact Configuration can take anywhere from 24 hours to two weeks depending on the complexity of the configurations. In most cases a basic AI contact center can be provisioned in 72 hours once you have completed the onboarding form.
What is a dedicated GhostPhone number?

A local phone number is assigned to your contact center. If you don’t port your existing number to AWS, this is the number that you forward your existing number to by entering *72 into your landline. Ghostphone Extensions are also allocated their own number.
