Vaughan Palelei
Co-Founder & Chief Nerd
Vaughan is a former Nightclub owner, rugby player and lifelong serial entrepreneur who got the startup bug in 2010 as the cofounder of Touch Taste Technologies, winners of the 2010 Chicago Innovation Awards. Vaughan is a retired MMA fighter, musician and wannabe Author with two, quite ordinary self-published books under his belt. A single dad of one precocious tweenage daughter and a mini greyhound called Penny, Vaughan founded A.I development company Emotive Intelligence with Jim Martin in 2018 and Megaphone Inc, in 2021. As a website, app and Voice App developer for the last 10 years, Vaughan is the chief nerd at MegaPhone.
Jim Martin
Co-Founder & Chief UI/UX
Jim is a recovering restaurateur, former caterer to the rich and needy in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, and the co-founder of Megaphone AI and Emotive Intelligence. Upon his return to Chicago in 2001 (and weary of working every weekend and holiday for the previous twenty years), Jim pivoted to commercial real estate and was soon representing notable clients in the leasing and sales of high-profile restaurant and nightclub properties. Always interested in technology Jim started dabbling in digital marketing and developing websites for friends, family, and organizations he was involved with. In 2015 Jim launched a digital marketplace for the restaurant brokerage community with the help of Megaphone AI and Emotive Intelligence co-founder Vaughan Palelei. Jim’s focus is on product development, business development and the customer user experience.
Pete Heisinger
Chief Revenue Officer
Prior to Megaphone AI, Peter worked at Leverage 10 and Comcast Spotlight (now EffecTv). He brings extensive expertise in multi-screen video solutions (television, desktop, tablet, mobile) and a proven aptitude helping businesses drive revenue growth and increase profitability. His experience includes stints as Director of National Sales, VP/GM Chicago and RVP Midwest Sales. During his career he has had direct oversight of sales, marketing, research teams and had been involved in the launch of several digital and enhanced television products at EffecTv. In addition, Peter has worked with hundreds of clients in the automotive, home improvement, medical, legal, financial and other retail sectors.
Chris Considine
Co-Founder & Counsel
Christopher Considine is of counsel to Megaphone AI and Emotive Intelligence, LLC and has been a licensed attorney since 1999. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago’s School of Law with a JD, Loyola University of Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business with an MBA and received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University.
Chris has represented clients in various sectors including the financial services, investment, real estate and hospitality industries.
Chris is a founding member, and sits on the board of, two Chicago-based charities, namely: In Chef’s Hands-Food Therapy for the Soul NFP and Un86’d NFP.
